Good game

Great game! Really enjoyable.

Pretty good from what I've played.

SHORT REVIEW


LIKES
1. The amount of fun you can have with your friends.
I loved every moment of the yelling, screaming, and hysterical laughter from the open beta.
2. Easy to learn combos.
3. Customization.
4. Fast pace thinking is required.
You have to do ALL the counters.
5. Some strats are involved.
You need to communicate teamates to figure out a battle plan. (novice tip- When in pre-game, try looking at the map to find where the objectives, spawnpoints, or powerups are located)
6. Easy to pick up. (personally)


DISLIKES
1. If on computer, your mouse can sometimes appear on the screen; this can prevent you from focusing on the game. (the mouse cursor is SO distracting)
2. While trying to block combos from the Peacekeeper while on PC, for example, it is difficult to repeatedly move the mouse in the same direction; this could lead to you running out of space, make you look down wondering why your keyboard just moved, and getting #rekt when you were not looking. (idk if this just happend to me)
3. I exclusively got Level 1 gear after all my matches. (You can get gear to customize your character's looks and stats to fit your playstyle. You can either buy gear for in-game currency OR get gear after a match. Idk if this just happend to me)
4. Sometime my group and I would get kicked out of matches as soon as they started.
After everyone was ready and on the screen where your characters "jump" at one another, the match took 7 minutes to start.

Few improvements can be made.

Playing Starbound has had me on the edge seat for over a year now. Starbound has a feel like Terraria, but it has more freedom. In the current Starbound you can choose from 7 different characters, that you can customize to your liking. I prefer the Human and The Novakid. One of the reasons that the Novakid is my favorite is that they start out with a gun, unlike any other character. Once you spawn in you'll have to repair your ship with materials on the planet below. Once you progress further into the game you'll eventually be able to go the Outpost where you can do quests for the NPCs. After awhile you'll be able to go to different planets and upgrade your ship. Starbound has the unstable version that allows you to be able to see what is coming in the future, but it may have only just a couple hundred bugs. Starbound is a wonderful game that everyone can enjoy. Starbound is worth the buy.
