Quality game, it's just so frustrating in how long each mission is.
There is only so much for you to do with the game, all missions are basically repeats in different layers, which isn't a huge issue but it does bore me eventually.
Gun mechanics are super fun, but they're more of a last resort thing, which is kind of a shame.
Thank you 10 chambers for actually committing to creating a good game and not straying away from your vision for greed or laziness. That's more than I can say about most developers today.

One of the best horror shooters ever created.
The horror atmosphere is perfect while the shooting mechanics were fun, and did not stray the horror elements of the game. It is hard to find a balance of allowing players to use weapons and making them feel horror in a game by making them feel helpless.
This game and Dead Space are truly masterpieces in horror shooters.

Um... god awful launch. I was there during the 2018 E3 announcement, and I was already worried when they said "no mod support". Yeah... tons of bugs that can't get fixed since modders can't touch this game lmao.

Content got better after Wastelanders since they added NPCs, but uuuuh after Steel Dawn everything went downhill fast. Once you hit the endgame, there isn't much more to do. Weapons do not scale after level 50 typically, so good luck with infinitely leveling enemies lol.

You also really need to min max into either power armor or stealth builds in this game, there is no real variety in unique builds. The grind is artificially created, and painful. Limiting players in terms of the amount of currency players can use daily is cringeworthy, and making weapon modifications RNG based is just... criminal.

This is a cautionary tale for the future of the gaming industry. Lazy ways to abuse player psychology into grinding this game with artificial blocks to keep DAUs up instead of creating content players actually would enjoy continuing to play.

Meme of a game, but it's one of those it's so bad it's good kind of moments.
Like most Bethesda game, it's more of a sandbox game where you can do whatever you want thanks to mods.
Creation Club was kind of a screw you moment, but wtv.

Not completely boring, but it's so... watered down.
Evil Within 1 was really interesting. Warped setting that genuinely made you feel uncomfortable and gameplay similar to the Resident Evil series. This game... not so much, it's more like a stereotypical shooter with some horror elements.
Also, whatever happened to DLC? How did everyone just... forget about it? lol

Not bad at all. They tried something new with an open world expansion with the goofy mechanics that Dead Rising is known for, and it worked for the most part.
