4:3 stretch. black bars bad. do not use black bars.
low everything in cs2 except dynamic shadows and HDR. no FSR etc.
I like 4xMSAA but CS2 is too slow on my hardware for that

MSAA improves visibility through complex areas and can help the "boost player contrast" feature
keep in mind that shadow quality and MSAA hit GPU performance pretty hard, test for balance

Salient OS (Arch) + KDE Wayland. linux 6.6 kernel, AMPGPU+RADV driver.
I may boot Win10 for CS2 but perf on my system is around 1:1 or better lately.

Salient has not had a new release recently so installing now might be a bit broken.
CachyOS has a fair bit of optimization OOTB, EndeavourOS is a solid, basic Arch OS.
Garuda Linux also looks promising for a proper Arch install with some tweaks included.
Ubuntu tends to be the safer, less involved option with Nvidia GPUs. proprietary drivers...

Arch is a rolling release so updates are quick and there are no major upgrades to worry about.
it usually gets better perf than Ubuntu and up to 40% faster than Windows in CSGO (RIP)
with a few addons (AUR, pamac, corectrl etc) I actually like this OS. usually.
