Occlude is a fun take on solitaire combined with moody music, beautiful visuals, and an interesting story. I deeply appreciate the inclusion of two difficulties, as someone who is historically not great at the game. Overall, I have had a good time with the game so far, and I definitely recommend it if you're interested in solitaire games. I only wish it were longer!

I wasn't sure what to expect when I started playing Mouthwashing, but I was not disappointed. This was a tense, surreal experience that uses themes of death and agency to great effect. I don't think the gore/body horror is excessive and I think it's also used to great effect. Overall, a short but worthwhile experience. I plan to play it again to show my spouse.

I'm very bad at counting cards, so I'm very bad at blackjack. However, I'm still having a great time with this game. Some of the encounters feel really punishing, but sometimes that's just the luck of the draw. If you enjoyed Balatro, you have a good chance of enjoying this.

I'm not a fan of the roguelike/roguelite genre generally, but I love Supergiant games so I decided to give it a shot. It's fun and fast-paced, and while it can be punishing, it doesn't make me feel bad when I lose a run. Instead, I'm delighted to see the story progress, even when I fail. A+ game, worth a shot even if you're not a fan of the genre.

This is a fun, short little analog horror title with a lot of atmosphere and heart. The gameplay loop is very simple and not terribly involved, but I was deeply invested in the worldbuilding apparent throughout all the items you can find in the UI. Great use of a few hours if you have some time to spare.

As someone with many hours in HF1, I was very pleased at how fundamentally different HF2 is. Some people think this is a bad thing, and I get it, but I really enjoy the ways HF2 is different from HF1. I feel like there's a lot of room for improvement, as many people have pointed out, but overall I am in love with HF2 and see myself putting as many hours, if not more, into it.

TL;DR - If you liked HF1, give this a shot!

I'm not going to lie and say this is a perfect game by any stretch of the imagination. The third act is buggy as hell, the character epilogues fall absolutely flat in the end, and the game does a poor job of sign-posting certain thins about quests and the UI. However, it's terribly engrossing. The quest writing is really good, especially for your companions. The overall plot is fun, and I had to shut the game down and take a lap when presented with one of the final choices in the game. It really made me think about who my character was and what she would do. I'm already on my second playthrough and I'm seeing new things that I missed all the time.

Overall, it's a great experience and I recommend it to anyone who is enthusiastic about RPGs.

I'm normally very bad at deckbuilders, and I've never really liked them. However, Inscryption is incredibly forgiving to people like me, and the plot will keep you guessing right 'til the very end.

This game gave me some heavy Portal vibes at first (not a bad thing), but it establishes its own unique feel pretty quickly. The puzzles are unique and challenging, but never to the point of abject frustration. I loved the use of perspective, and the way each part of the game plays with a different aspect of it helped keep it fresh. There are a bunch of collectibles that make it worth replaying, and I do recommend at least doing a second playthrough with developer commentary turned on. Overall this game is great. It doesn't overstay its welcome and it's well worth your time.

This is such a weirdly satisfying game. What would seem like banal and boring is engaging and fun. Maybe it's just the power fantasy of being able to actually have money, own property, and have control over your own space.
