I'm gonna say it: I enjoyed this game more than Sekiro. The linearity was refreshing, the level design was great, most bosses were fun, and the combat is one of the best in the genre for me (that I've tried.) The sound design of the parries produces so much dopamine that I felt compelled to get as close to a perfect run on each boss as I could. My main issue with FromSoftware games is how the combat feels shallow and basic, with nothing really comboing into each other. This game completely solves that for me, with the weapon crafting, fable arts, legion arms, and attacks smoothly transitioning into each other. I'm not sure if I prefer this game's combat or Khazan's; It might be a tie (very high praise).

My favorite "friendslop" game so far. The game feels very polished compared to others in the genre, and the definitive goal kept me playing the game for more than just a night or two. The climbing mechanics are simple and intuitive, and the fun comes from being creative with the climbs depending on the current seed and tools you have available. The achievements were really well-done and fun to grind out. Highly recommend this game to anyone looking for a laugh with friends.

Felt like an old game in a good way. I love how much charm everything had from the UI to the character designs to the combat. Felt like a mix of classic God of War combat with Zelda Dungeons. As a Nintendo kid growing up, I feel like I would've fallen in love with this game if I had played it sooner. I still enjoyed it today, but I wish I held some sort of nostalgia for it.

I loved this game so much more than I ever imagined I would. It scratches all of the right itches: progression, optimization, build crafting, farming, grinding, everything just feels right. I'm definitely going to play more in the future on harder difficulties.

Awesome little souls-like that provided a decent amount of challenge. The dialogue was goofy in a good way. Combat mechanics and progression felt super refined and satisfying. Overall a great time, albeit a bit short. Hope Aggro Crab makes more games with this level of quality in the future!

Amazing co-op experience, but lacking in the actual rogue-lite features that keep games in this genre exciting from run to run. Once you "solve" the game, all runs look the same since the map is stagnant and items aren't interesting enough for build crafting anything insane/overpowered. I was pleasantly surprised by how fun each character is to play, and hope future FromSoft games play around with it.

PS: Insane that there is no UW support or uncapped framerate in 2025.

Short but sweet little indie game. Perfect for taking a break from longer/more intense games. Satisfying gameplay loop and progression, creepy but not too scary (which is just right for me). Hope there's a sequel!

This is my favorite game of all time and I don't see it getting beaten out anytime soon. This game is a miracle of a passion project. I can't believe it exists. The world, gameplay, story, characters, and music are all 5/5. Even haters of turn-based combat love this game. So stop looking for a reason to ignore this game and GO PLAY IT RIGHT NOW.
