Childhood is when you idolize Full House/Straights. Adulthood is when you realize that High Card makes more sense.

It is actually quite impressive that the gameplay of Scorn manages to be so boring, time wasting, and tedious that it totally overpowers the awe and mystique of the beautifully rendered biomechanical environments.

Military grade style. Beats so hard they are banned by the the Geneva Conventions. Vibes to level the whole block.

The government doesn't want you to know this, but all sewers have raves in them. You can just crawl down there and start partying. The police can't stop you.

All of the otherworldly horror you expect from your local public transit rendered with a beautiful art style, creative puzzles, and an amazing presentation.

The only game I have played where fighting off tears is an active an intentional part of the difficulty curve.

A lot of games do horror really well but more then anything Marginalia nails dread. Its like listening to a dark ambient album, reading poetry by Edger Allen Poe, or turning around in the forest and realizing that you hopelessly lost.

Its amazing how much this game makes you feel like a hot shot dare-devil pilot even after you have crashed into the ground for the 7th consecutive time.

More so than anything I have played, Journey emulates what it is like to have a friend; to take a sigh of relief when you turn the corner and find them after getting lost; to come across an immaculate vista and turn away to look back and make sure they can see it with you; to desperately, wordlessly, implore them to go on and save themselves, even if it means leaving you behind; to have your first worry after a brush with death be "If I die, they will be alone".

Accurately encapsulates the slow creeping terror on descending into rural America as your only radio station options wittle away until nothing remains but conservative talk radio.
