This game is nuts. if you like fragging and big battles, this is an extravaganza. Simple as that.

Great game! Very much enjoyed this. Definitely feels like a part one and part two with some of the extended puzzles in xen - I do agree that one or two of the puzzles leave you very confused. In fact I was so confused in one section with all the green pumps and power cables I managed to jump out of the area entirely and trap myself in an area where I could not really do anything.

That is about it for the negatives! Got them out of the way early. I played this on hard, as all games should be played. The AI enemies were a great challenge, dodging bullets and peeking every so often - very good fun. Some of the assassin fights were a bit too much - the one where you fight 5-6 of them was crazy on hard mode. The music and atmosphere for boss fights is fantastic, I very very very much enjoyed playing this game. Overall I think the developers did an excellent job, and well done Valve for allowing them to sell a 14 year passion project on steam!
