So - game is good, but service provided is not.

What's clearly bad - customer service, they would not help you, and it's quite hard to get to them even since UI for website is about same level of sophistication and ease of usage as 2000s free website hostings. Haven't really seen worse UI in any decent company.
Next is microtransations - they are many for both cosmetics and quite important quality of life improvements, that are provided free in most of other good mmos (like bank\stash). Some cosmetic stuff could be account bound, but a lot of it is for one character only, despite having price that's far from being low. Oh, and make sure you read all description, where present and check info in google where not to avoid getting into not pleasant situations. For example when you transfer character to another realm - you only get list of servers with no indication if there is limitation or where those servers are, just names. So it's very possible to be in EU and transfer to Oceania new server, where you're trapped for 90 days with not great connection to servers.

Now as for other stuff:
Plot is absolutely from shounen anime\manga - it'd have fun parts, it'd have light drama and raise some serious themes with all seriousness, intricacy and innocence of middle\high school student. Some moments would be epic, some cringy and ofc there would be beach episode and fillers. I kid you not, it's exactly like that. Unfortunately the further you go along the storyline the more dumb it gets in both the moment and retrospect with Endwalker being the peak of dumb in that regard. Among clear pros - everyone would get at least one character they like along the line, while cons might be all other npcs insufferable behaviour and your fav being side character who dies not that long after their introduction.
Music is quite good half of the time - most of great music is probably in trials (one boss encounters) and small raids (small being just few minutes long, often with just one room). Slight issue with music might be that while great tracks are great, they sometimes are not really fitting the theme of the place\boss. And most location music is very forgettable, as opposite of those trial bangers.
Graphics are pretty (as for the year game released) for character models, but not much for monsters. Levels are almost never straight up ugly, but could be of meh quality. However more of them are decent\pretty looking. While not having "depth" beauty, outwardly they look pretty.
Gameplay is enjoyable. Combat for early levels might be mindnumbingly boring, but most classes get better after about lvl 20. As it's rooted in FF traditional turn-based fights, it could be not as responsive or action oriented as WoW, for example. Crafting\Gathering is just best of any mmos I have seen - not just a side gig, but full blown way to play with it's own questlines, skills, gear etc. Have to admit that it's not as developed as combat clsses\quests, but still best part of the game imo.
Community is another clear advantage over other mmos. Almost everyone is very helpful, very charitable and just generally a good person. Only small "but" being how defensive everyone is about ffxiv and how it's better that wow.

Probably forgot about bunch of other stuff, but it's quite late, so meh.
