playing as Skarbrand feels like an absolute truck, except the truck is ripped, red, angry and just demolish everything. 8/8 would collect skulls for the Skull Throne again

I just spent some time in this game, occasionally. It's not making addicted or anything.

Even after 200ish hours in PSP, and another 300ish of hours playing this, you'd still be an "average"-skilled player

After almost 400 hrs spent, I think it's time to write my review to this game. Been playing Total War series from Rome I, and by far this is my most favorite Total War game, the second being Medieval II.

What I think amazing from this game is the replayability. With every faction have their own mechanic and play-style (VC with raise dead, vampire corruption. Dwarves with grudges. Chaos with horde mode and Beastmen with their ambush assault), it is possible to play campaign over and over again with each faction and Legendary Lords. Although I agree that some of the mechanics are simplified (no family-tree, no food surpluses, etc, etc).

So if you like Warhammer but new to Total War, i strongly recommend it. And if you like Total War yet feels that non-historical setting fits, give it a try. And if you're the fans of both (like me), you don't have to think twice. Because i think Total War: Warhammer can bring two fans from both franchise together.
