If you like Slay the Spire, you'll like this too. Plus it has a train, and you're the bad guys.

I'll echo my review of Transport Fever. If you liked Transport Fever or Train Fever, you'll love this. The base game is already an improvement, and that's just the start. No doubt I'll be updating this with - "after all the tweaks, balancing and amazing mods..."

I'll let you decide if you like it or not, however, the clue is in the thumb as to if I did.

I've updated this review to remove the "received for free" because I've now gifted a copy to my wife which I paid for, and will no doubt be buying another to give away on a stream at some point.

I don't really have much of a review, I just wanted to say I love it. Oh, and it stopped me playing Hearthstone so the amount of money it saved me on new expansions adds to its value.

A fun, challenging and well balanced game. Don't give up in the first few hours, get some perks under your belt and you'll soon start clearing full runs.

If you enjoy games like The Binding of Isaac, you'll probably enjoy this. Although, this doesn't have RNG that will end your run like Mr Isaac and Co can do, you can however have OP and sub-par runs depending on the drops.

I do hope they create an expansion for this. Going beyond the last boss would be awesome.

A fun puzzle game with a train theme. If you like micro management, route building, trains and puzzles you should get this.

Game breaking bugs, crashes and incomplete. It's a real shame, it could have been a decent little farm builder.

Avoid.

A good sequel to Train Fever. All the extras are worth the price. If you liked the first one, you'll love this one - I do!

Updated 2018: After the superb performance patch this year, I've voted this as my "Labour of Love" in the 2018 Steam Awards. It truly is.

Simply the best Transport game available today.

I have played pretty much all other games of this genre and while the classics were awesome I find the dated visuals and UIs not holding up to modern (and my) expectations any longer. This game rectifies that, and although it could do with more management, the "model railway" aspect is good for many hours (300+ in my case and rising).

Although the release was a little rough around the edges, most of that has been rectified and the game engine is now solid. The team are adding new features monthly and even a free DLC pack, and I would imagine they have a few more additions planned.

Oh, and don't forget the huge modding community which allows you to add to and bend the game to your personal preference.

I paid pre-release price for this at $30 and I've played (as of writing) 336 hours. So, at 9 cents per hour of entertainment and dropping, I'd say it has huge re-playability and excellent entertainment value.
