The series revolves around two teenage stepbrothers, Drake Parker and Josh Nichols, who live in San Diego, California with Drake's biological mother Audrey, younger sister Megan, and Josh's biological father Walter. Drake is cool and popular, having his own band and being a ladies' man, yet can be absent-minded, while Josh is an intellectual, clumsy and awkward; yet very loving and caring. The two boys are often involved in comedic escapades and challenges while also handling various teenage problems.

Hey mom, It's me Jalen. School life has been really good and I think Psychology is a true passion of mine even a few years in (Grandma was right haha). That's not to say it has been easy, I miss home, I miss you and pop (R.I.P) greeting me by the door but i'm sure it's harder on you, Mom. Both Lisa and I aren't those rowdy, nosey kids anymore lol

I heard she made it over... I had her bring my gift as well- PERSONALLY wrapped, Not one of those *Display boxes* you got at me over last year haha. Hopefully by next summer I'll be able to drop by and see the family again, I've changed alot. I love you, Mom. Happy Birthday.
