This is my first DW game, so I can't comment on how it stacks up to others, but the combat is quite fun and engaging and the story seems good so far...I can't speak that much to story, since I've had so much fun going around grinding random battles I haven't gotten too far in it! I'd highly recommend using the Chinese dubs even if you don't speak Chinese, since the English dub is just awful.
