What I like most in this game is that it's sooo versatile. Like of course, the main point is to battle an opponent in an arms race type fashion, but for example if you only like shooting, you can play on prebuilt maps.
You can do pretty much anything you can think of, I've actually spent hours on end with a friend just trying to get a huge battleship to fly.
The game is extremely player oriented, the mods work hard to fix every bug and are actually very well connected to the players. They also make it very easy to make mods (though you have to have some experience to program of course), and maps (though you have to get used to the editor lol).

What's also extremely cool about this game, is that because it doesn't have a gazillion players, it's actually possible to be one of the best few. Of course, it will take some time but after a few months you can already consider yourself a pro forts player :P

All in all I would really recommend this game to anyone who like to play computer games :P there's wayy too many pros to list :D
