The B plots in the game are very obscure, boring, lack any kind of depth, and do nothing for building upon any of the characters you meet. To that point, every character is shallow, lacks any kind of self motivation, and exists solely to help the main character on their mission. Only one other character (Alyssa) has any kind of hopes and dreams
