No matter how you look at it, it's cheaper than buying stuff from Gamesworkshop and it's easier to play players as you can do so at pretty much any time and without leaving your computer. I still play the board game version, but this is a very nice substitute! I'm not entirely sure about the new teams (the ones not in the original board game) but it's still a lot of fun both online and offline. It takes a little bit to learn, but the learning curve isn't outrageous. I really recommend this to people who like turn based strategy and games that don't last hours on end.

And for the second time I'm changing my review of For Honor. This does come with a big warning: the game patching and progress is not consistent, or I wouldn't be changing my reviews as much! The second thing is that the game is really fluctuating on the recommend/don't recommend line. Now I can recommend this game as Ubisoft has implemented positive changes, but there is still lag issues, especially after a patch and busy weekends.

You've read about the connection issues, and I guess you've heard that the matchmaking is terrible. The connection issues could still be fixed, but the matchmaking needs a total and complete overhaul. It doesn't even work in principle! You get matchmade BEFORE you pick your hero, and your level, gear, unlock status, ... is per hero and not per account, so until the matchmaking is at least changed to AFTER you chose your hero, or allow to change hero on death, then it will never work, even on paper!

It's a shame because this game is built on a solid engine with great mechanics that I find very enjoyable. It's got a easy to pick up, hard to master feel.

Moving onto why I would recommend this game:
It's complex, fun, challenging and really offers a great 1 v 1 PvP system. The rest of the game modes, I've grown out of a bit because of matchmaking issues. There's always someone unhappy, which is fair enough, but playing against better players is how you get better, so just take it with a smile!

I've now unlocked all aspects of this game and have to say, there's at least one character for everyone! The thing is you do need to practice and use your brain as you fight better and better players. It's not just button mashing you can sometimes get away with early one. There is a really deep mechanic around fainting attacks, parrying them, dodging, and trying to push your openent into a mistake to create an opening. Even the "easy" characters are incredibly in depth! It's not apparent at first, but being smart and sneaky is key in this game. It's so satisfying to master though! So much fun once you get to fight good players once you'v'e gotten to their level! So much satisfaction in a well placed faint or parry. It really feels like a duel when you are playing versus equaly matched players and I get so much fun out of it!

I recommend making friends which are around you skill level and group up to practice. Everyone gets better and you'll be having a blast! I don't mind losing as long as the fight is fun and good. You get so much satisfaction from a good combo or mix up that you feel so happy even if you end up losing the fight. The duel community is really good overall. Most people seem to feel the same: a good fight lost is better than a boring win. You end up making friends quite easily as you're one on one, doing at least 3 fights in duel (more in custom games if you want).

All in all, unless you're ready to really learn a game and practice to increase your skill, then this game is not for you! If you get frustrated with losing, forget it! DO NOT TOUCH unless you like pain and frustration. It's worth it though!

NB: Have not tried the latest DLC/Addon.

Amazing game made even more amazing by the great community!

I don't know what it is, but the R6 Siege reviews are covered in great stories where people were helped by the R6 community in game to improve. Everyone seems so surprised at the lack of insults and that they get constructive help from their teammates instead of a barrage of profanity. It's how a game should be! I've had my share of help from randoms, helping me improve, and that is alwasy so much fun! Yes, you can make friends in an FPS!

Outside that, this game is quite realistic. Bullets tend to kill you in one shot and feel like a bullet would feel. Tactics really have to be applied: slow and steady wins the race! And Teamwork is essential, no just about not shooting certain people.

All in all, this slow paced strategic shooter, which I haven't played all that much yet, has so much to offer. The ultra-realistic action really adds quite a lot of tension. You'll be glued to your headset, listening for footsteps, looking for shadows under baricades, thinking about exactly where the best breach point is and how you should breach without taking that 1 fatal bullet or hurting a hostage, and all that sometimes in a fractions of seconds.

I'm still very new and need much practice, but there's always the option to practice against AI which might reassure some of you a bit daunted my a potential learning curve. There's no campaign, but to be honest, I don't miss it much. The old killrooms are still there so you can practice in different settings in coop as much as you want, and oh do I need that!

Can't wait to get back into it!

After last year's mircro-transactions fiasco, Payday 2 is finally back on track with the removal of the safes that can only be opened with a drill and replace them with safes that are free to open. Ok, the skins aren't the best, but it doesn't really affect gameplay, so you can enjoy your favourite coop bank robbing game again! Yes, finally!

There's a lot of DLCs still, but they're not essential by now. I do recommend you do what my friends and I do: wait for steam sales to buy DLCs for this game you want. They are rarely worth the full price they ask for.

Finally Payday 2 is moving back forward, time to enjoy it!

Absoluteley amazing DLC in an entirely new area of Witcher 3. There is so much content in this DLC, much much more than any other similarly priced DLCs around for other games. You realy have to get this is you liked the Witcher 3. It's completely worth it! I'm not going to give any spoilers, just a big thumbs up for the Witcher 3 DLCs!

This is an amazing DLC, especially for the price! You actually get £7.99 (full price worth) of content with this dlc! It's actually really worth it as it's more than just one story, but also side quests, treasure hunts and contracts. I really don't want to spoil anything! Long story short: get this DLC or just get the season pass or the complete edition, it's worth it!

You know what, I don't think this game needs a long review. It can be explained in one sentence:

Everything you want in an RPG!

If you don't play this game, you will regret it! Trust me.

Special mention to features:
-The game can be played without combat, purely for the role play. I don't use this feature, but I can see how some players would. You don't have to master combat if you don't want to. Great idea! Might try it at some point.
-The amount of content is huge! The DLCs are amazing and the skins and small cosmetic items are free! These days, it's rare!
-Did I mention it has everything you could want in an RPG? Including an addictive card game which is simple to play but hard to master.
-It's incredibly well optimised! It runs flawlessly and at a much higher quality of graphics than most other games using less ressources.

Just buy it. Wait for a sale if you have to, but buy it! This game must be played! IT MUST BE PLAYED! If you don't, you will regret it.

Early Access Review
Let's just cut the suspense: Subnautica is very fun and totally worth it at full price, so defenitaly get this game! If you can't afford full price, put it on your wishlist and buy it as soon as it's on sale!

I think the first thing I really like in Subnautica, and find actually quite refreshing, is the lack of coop and multiplayer. Yes, I said it, I like that this game is single player! Why? Well because you're ment to survive and explore, which is great with friends, but to experience the real scares and thrills of survival, you should be alone! With no one else to depend on. It makes things creepier, scarier, and as enjoyable as coop and multiplayer survival games like Ark (my personal coop/mp favourite). Isn't also nice to just have a game to yourself sometimes? Being able to craft and unlock everything alone just makes it that much more gratifying at the end.

Now if you're already thinking you don't see why underwater survival is as fun as surviving on land, and in space, well it's because you've not tried this game yet! When you consider things, being underwater isn't that much different from being on an alien planet: you have to watch your oxygen supplies, and you've got the ability to travel in all directions. What makes this more interesting than other games is the pressure! Like in reality, you can only go so far down before your sub or vehicle starts getting crushed under the water pressure! Your lungs aren't built for that either, but no spoilers.

This game is still quite early in development, but it's fleshing out very very well and still have so much more to explore and discover! I feel like Jacques Cousteau trying to survive on an alien planet.

I absolutely love this game! And it works perfectly on any machine. If you like old school medieval strategy, play this! If you liked Lord of the Realm 2, play this!

Summary: Make up your minds Ubisoft! This game was released very unfinished and 3 months after release is a bit late to start straingtening things out, especially basics things. Content was added, but it's generally unplayable until at least one or two patches after release of the new content. All in all, this game is pretty empty and quite boring.

Longer review: The Division is a MMO third person shooter, quite playable solo, but it won't be very fun. The story is honestly very poor: a terrorist released a super flu and you try and do damage control and get a cure. Gangs took over New York City and you need to clean it up a bit. Really nothing special.

The gameplay is quite basic, involves cover based shooting and use of equipable powers. Crafting is pretty easy, but slightly killed now due to ever changing balancing. All in all, despite having simple RPG and shooter principles, The Division managed to muck things up quite badly not exactly knowing where it's headed. You can go around the game and do every dungeon/instance very fast.

The PvP isn't all that interesting either. First off it's more PvPvE, and it requires a lot of grinding, and not very fun grinding. Kill NPCs again and again... Maybe sometimes kill rogues players, but for a PvP area, there's actually not all that much PvP...

All in all, please give this game a miss and try something else, like Rainbow Six Vegas 2, it's got realism, as opposed to having to empty a mag point blank into and NPC to take him down, and cover based shooting without odd powers that seem to come from nowhere.
