Sept 25 2021:
Same applies. Still addicting and keep coming back to it.
The muscle memory sticks with me over long periods of time and I pick it up naturally.

Jan 6 2019:

The only game that you will keep playing until you are too limp to move your arms anymore.
I keep coming back to this game because with BeatSaver, there's near infinite content.
The satisfaction of beating a song that has repeatedly beaten you gives you such an overwhelming sense of bliss and accomplishment.

I started off absolutely horrible, couldn't get past the first 10 seconds of any song.
Now I'm cruising through all Experts and slowly becoming better at Expert+'s.
It takes determination and persistence, but you will find that you incrementally improve yourself over time.

I took a 3 day break after initially playing the game, came back and it was like the scene from The Matrix - "I know kung fu"
The flow and rythm of the slashes take you over and you don't even have to look at the direction of the blocks anymore, you just start swinging and hitting, like the all seeing ninja that you have become.

Don't just get this game, get it and try. Try really hard. Just don't kill yourself in the process.
Drink lots of water, you no longer will need to go the the gym.

...It's also great for parties.
Bring this over and have lots of laughs as your friends flail around and panic at the sudden barrage of blocks heading towards their face. It's a lot of fun, I promise.
