Best $6 I ever spent.

Just another indie game running on the UE4 engine with a streamer bait premise that will never be built upon creatively and has zero chance of ever being completed.

Pros:

• Combat is really fun.
  
• Stylish visuals and music.
  
• Mysterious story.

Cons:

• Repetitive by design.
  
• Only 5 powers, 2 of which are from Dishonored.
  
• Enemy AI is pretty bad.
  
• Lots of stuttering and choppy framerate.
  
• No morality system.
  
• PVP feels undercooked.

I did a bag of coke and then did 3 straight shifts as a train driver. GOTY 2021.

Witch Hunt was amazing. This isn't. The only reason I'm not refunding this is because I want to support the dev and hope he can lift it up from how bad it is in this current state.

• Horrible gunplay. You're a professional hunter and reload weapons incredibly slowly, nor can you sprint and reload either. Why?
  
• Super repetitive gameplay, little improved upon Witch Hunt. Run around the map, wait for signs of the creature, shoot it a mundane amount of times to kill it.
  
• Seemingly random ambushes by "worshippers" who have an unreasonable amount of health points and lame super powers.
  
• Possessed animals move way too quickly and erratically.
  
• The more modern setting removes all the uniqueness and charm of Witch Hunt. Looks like a lazy asset flip and a poor clone of Rake, Bigfoot, etc.
  
• What purpose does the axe even serve?

I loved Witch Hunt, it was one of the most underrated horror games I've ever played. Right now this is an insult to that game. This looks and sounds good, but that's not enough to carry the rest of it.

Slow, boring and forgettable. Movement feels like you're underwater. Simply selecting weapons and modifying them is an absolute chore. AI is laughable and the sniper sim aspect is clunky and un-intuitive. CI Games have done it again.

Pros:

• Looks and runs pretty well.
  
• Weapons & factions from the 40k universe.
  
• Grappling hook is pretty fun.
  
• Combat is mostly enjoyable.

Cons:

• Clunky UI and non-existent inventory.
  
• Cyber Mastiff is wasted potential.
  
• The jank, my God, the jank.
  
• Bad AI.
  
• "Press E to win" take-downs.
  
• Boring story & bad writing.
