This game is THE perfect shooting game. It is, in my opinion, unbeatable.

The developers are essentially giving you a really easy to use game engine, where anything you want to happen, can happen. In my 13k hours I have played as:
- An ODST dropping into Mombasa where flood and covenant are battling for control of the city
- A farmer trying to scavenge a city for supplies in a zombie apocalypse
- A special forces operator conducting an HVT snatch-and-grab in Afghanistan
- An SCP MTF Soldier investigating reports of an SCP and taking down a cult
- An Ultramarine purging a heretic guardsman outpost with a powersword
- A US Army soldier defending New York during an alien invasion
- A WW2 soldier on D-Day
- A British soldier fighting against the Zulu's in 1870
- A clone executing Order 66

And man, so much more is possible. It's like lego, you can quite literally build and do anything you want. And most importantly, you can do it with friends. I've spent the last 13k hours playing with the same group of people every Sunday night, and it's become such a massive part of my life. It led to me getting my master's degree, it got me into my career, and most importantly it got me all of my closest friends.

I can't recommend finding a unit enough. It takes time, and it's really hard. Everyone is different, some are super serious with a fixed roster and attendance requirements, some are really relaxed and don't care whether or not you turn up. Point is there's something for everyone. Just keep an open mind and don't feel disheartened when you don't enjoy a unit you're trying, just move on. Joining up with a friend is a good idea, watch a couple youtube videos or ask people in the unit what they enjoy about it, etc.

If you let it, this game can absorb you entirely. You will have endless amounts of fun and you won't be able to put it down, nor will you feel the need to play anything else, coz it's all right here. If you're on the fence, please, give it a go. I promise it's worth your time.
