This game is pretty awesome, but not for the faint of heart. It is a rare Western danmaku (bullet curtain/hell) shooter with a nice seletion of playable ships. Basically there are tons of bullets everyone and you have to dodge them and shoot bullets back. It is very simple. But simple doesn't mean easy! Still, a pleasant game on lower difficulties. I'd rather play Touhou, especially for the music and atomosphere, but you can't get those games in the West in an easy way yet. A great alternative!
