Early Access Review
Great premise, basically Orks Must Die but in space and FPS. Problem is the areans are clearly designed with coop in mind but it's released as SP with coop to come. Myself I'd rather play alone but as is it fees nigh on impossible to play some levels alone, looking at you core processing.
Love the feel of the game, guns feel good and punchy. Starting traps likewise. Enemies are not stupid cannon fodder but the difficulty spikes are quite insane. I go from comfortably holding the line to getting ganked by so many enemies that as one man with a clip of 90 (upgraded SMG ammo pool FTW) and a killzone that just can't cut it. But you're out of fall back positions and your last sentry.
Yes it converys the sense of being a desperate defender against a superior foe but I dunno. How am I meant to extract to get better equipment if I just get curbstomped randomly before I can extract?
If you ask me levels need a pass for better killzones and more imporantly lanes need cutting down so the single player experience can shine. It's definetly got that impish glee of luring enemies to their doom to it but as is, even as a seasoned FPS player that chooses the harder difficulties, this is not as fun as it should be. That's just me though and maybe it's just how early the release is.

If steam gave a middle ground between yes and no I'd hit that but as is I on the not recommend camp until the next update that would appear to address difficulty conerns.
