Absolute awesome remake of the original.
It retains enough for fans of the original to enjoy while also being "modern" enough for newcomers to enjoy.

Even in its early stages of development, this game is fun.

Seems like it can be alright but heavily relies on RNG. Still not HL3.

Basically if Bloodborne was a 2d rogue-like with a pixel art style (not so much Victorian/ Lovecraftian).
Fast paced combat, challenging difficulty, great sound design.
A very enjoyable experience.

Having not actually played any of the previous installments (except for 20 minutes of the first game), I was unsure how much I was going to enjoy this game.
After nearing a 100 hours, I can say it is definitely worth playing.
Beautiful visuals, compelling story, loveable characters, great subtle humor, well written dialog, fun gameplay, the list goes on.
The only negatives that come to mind is that some of the side questing can be a bit of busy work but I never really had this problem.
If you haven't played the previous installments but want to give this a go you can still jump in fresh and have an highly enjoyable experience. And if you have played the previous games then I'm sure you already own and have finished The Witcher 3.
CD PROJEKT RED clearly care about the games they make and it shows with The Witcher. Buy this, get the dlc and say goodbye to close friends and family for the next couple months.
