Regardless of any recent corporate drama, this is easily one of the best shooters I've ever played. It is a coop experience bar none, where cinematic gameplay doesn't need to be sought, it gets dropped on your head by a friend that got staggered slightly.

I look forward to seeing where the title goes.

>Dig a stairwell straight down until I hit something I haven't seen before
>Breach into a cavern, all I need is two blocks and a door to keep it contained
>Swell, I'll get some workers down here before anything comes my way
>A Troll legs it out of the darkness at full speed towards the Dwarf that entered the cavern
>Order a wall built at the top of the stairwell, consigning a single Miner to his fate
>The Troll enters the stairwell and continues running as fast as he can
>Order the four drinking guys who should be on guard duty to go deal with the Troll about to bust into the crafting hall
>Troll runs right through the crafting area, frightening everyone at work
>Just... keeps running
>He's made it to the front door at this point, hasn't stopped once
>Bursts into the outdoors, does a quick jig in the sun and skips off into the woods, never to be seen again
>Immediately build a wall and a door at the cavern in case all I did was save him from something worse
>Thats enough fun for now

Early Access Review
I've made sixty tanks, five of which were good, and made the mistake of beating my head against No Tanks Land until it was done, foolishly demanding of myself to complete this madness chronologically.

Already feels like my money's worth and I'm not even that invested just yet, nothing quite like getting those capacity sliders to within 0.01 of full.

Shout out to Phly for even bringing this to my attention. Look forward to whatever the developer has in store for the future.

Its pretty fun. Spent some time doing some stuff.

Initially the game suffered a bit from the 'galaxy wide puddle' issue, but this is being rectified month by month. A must have if you already own a HOTAS. On the flip side this game convinced me to purchase a HOTAS and I have yet to look back.

The game is fun. It has its fair share of bad publicity, some deserved, some not. The fact that we are in Day 1 Steam reviews and sitting at about a 50/50 for recommendations shows this.

I've played since launch essentially. I dealt with the eight months of darkness that followed with bungled main story quests, mass duplications and the bans that followed, the community event abuses, and even survived the remote inventory abuses. The improvements made to this game in the last year have been significant, and I hope that my next few days in Wastelanders makes this feel as if this is the launch it actually needed.

The game is very fun with friends, the building system can be frustrating but rewarding once you figure out its... idiosyncrasies. Although simplified, anyone with Fallout 4 experience will know their way around it. Initially skeptical of the 'actorless' main storyline, I found several of the stories told with nothing more than notes and the environment quite moving regardless.

I hope to see some of you out there.

This game has it all. Oppressing natives as callous firearm equipped Europeans? Check. Resisting said Europeans literally anywhere else on Earth? Check.

I cannot say for certain how this game compares to its predecessors (only having played EU3 briefly), but it contains to me infinite replayability. Between the built in custom nation creator / random world generator, as well as the highly supportive and deep mod community, Europa Universalis IV rarely shares anything in common with previous games of itself.

Nation management on a grand scale, through one of the most crucial periods of history for the establishment of what we know today as 'the modern world'. What else do you need to sink days and days into?

1444/1453, would sack Constantinople again.

Owned the game for about fourteen days at this point, my ratio averages around ten hours per day.
Sleep once again became a foreign concept during the time I spent alone in the ship editor.
Would definitely recommend for those who enjoy Civilization, Sins of a Solar Empire, and the ilk.
