Before I begin, I would like to point out that I bought this game originally a couple years ago on Xbox 360, before I decided to get into PC gaming. I easily have over a thousand hours in this game on Xbox, and although I come back to this game often on PC now days, I have played it SO much that there is nothing new left for me.

This game is, in my opinion, probably the BEST aRPG ever made.......EVER!

There are many amazing things about this game, that I will list here:
* The amount of character customization is staggering.
* The fighting mechanics are arguably unmatched by ANY other game.
* The story is very deep and full of lore. It is in NO WAY thrown in your face, in fact it's quite the opposite, in that you will need to literally search through every item description and NPC conversation, in order to figure out what is happening in this decrepit land known as Lordran.
* Monster Design is arguably unmatched by any other game
* After you have played through the game multiple times, Dark Souls' PvP adds a whole new layer of replayability to the game, easily adding many more hours of enjoyment to the game.
* PvP is actually mixed in with PvE, in that other players can 'Invade' your world if certain conditions are met, and this greatly adds to the feeling of hopelessness and despair that the Developers have masterfully crafted into this game.

There's so much more about this game that is literally too hard to put into words. I just ask that if you give this game a chance, (you better!) that you ACTUALLY give this game a chance. It will seem awkward, or hard at first. You will die, but if you can push through the first couple areas in this game, you will become addicted, I guarantee it.

The only Cons that I see PC gamers taking issue with would be:
* KB/M controls are broken, making a controller strongly recommended. However, there are mods that help fix this.
* If you buy and install this game, it will NOT run correctly on any PC unless you also download and install DSFIX. [www.nexusmods.com] You MUST download and install this, and the 5 minutes it takes to do so fixes the game.
* There are not many options for graphics in the game itself, however, exploring the .ini files included in DSFIX will provide any PC gamer with many of the graphics options that we are used to.

Please do not take these cons as a reason not to buy and play this game, you would literally be missing out on the BEST aRPG ever made. Seriously, just buy it already! :D
