Wanted to like it, but no.

I wish Steam had a button between Yes and No. The game is.... mediocre. Its a new IP, and a new direction, so taking it in with a grain of salt. The game visuals are fantastic, and I am enjoying the game play loop. That being said one thing that is really bothering me is the controls. The gas and brake on the xbox controller both have a HUGE deadzone. Crane controls are very wonky as well.

Edit: After spending more time its a No. Game feels half finished.

Path of Exile 2: No Fun Edition

If I wanted to play dark souls I'd play dark souls. I want to play POE. Sluggish movement, slow dodging, and mobs are bullet sponges. For some reason your generic attack does more damage than spells. The mobs push you around especially in act 2 and almost everything can one shot you. Boss fights are the Black Myth Wukong style of dodge dodge dodge dodge hit dodge dodge dodge dodge. I was really hoping for a POE successor and what we got was a generic dark souls like game just like every other studio makes.

Oh hell yeah. This game is right in my strike zone.

Runs just fine on a 4080 Super ultra wide resolution.

Needs balancing.

Very clunky combat. Nice graphics.

Skip this one.

Its good

Fun game however after a crash it wiped out my save game.
