FINALLY. Telltale's done it. They've created a game where your choices actually affect the way the story plays out. Not only do your decisions alter the trajectory of other characters' paths, but your internal struggle with identity (the primary theme in the game for more than one reason) allows you to become Bruce Wayne or Batman. These choices affect gameplay, too - certain locations are played differently depending on your choices.

I won't spoil any of the story bits except for the fact that there's an amazing set of villains in the game, the pacing and character development is fantastic, and the plot itself is intriguing all the way through. Graphics are solid, particularly in Shadows Mode, and the music/sound design aids in immersion.

Now, while Telltale's trademark QTEs return, they're more entertaining this time around thanks to fluid 'combat' and minimal graphical hiccups. Puzzles are a bit better, as well, though still far too simple to be considered challenging in any regard.

Overall, Batman: The Enemy Within may not pack the same emotional punch that the first season of Telltales's The Walking Dead did, but it is far better than that game overall. The revamped version of this company has certainly learned from the mistakes of its predecessor. This game is definitely recommended!

No problem. It pains me to see how bias people can be with their games and can't take any criticism whatsoever.

Yes, thanks Grillby!

Thank you Grlillby for being adult about this. It's nice to have someone who has different view points and doesn't immediately become a hysterically defensive child in an argument. We all have things we like and dont like about games. As well, looking at something objectively our opinions may not coincide with the facts. Fugitive is just stating facts and not saying that someone is wrong for enjoying the game. He is just stating that the game is overrated and doesn't deserve the praise it receives in its audience. Take me for example, I believe that Firefly is the greatest show ever made. However, I can take my own bias out of the equation if looking at the show objectivly and understand there are much greater achievements on the small screen, for example Band of Brothers or The Pacific.

Lol dude ur bso butthurt over the game and cant that u cant see the flaws. Although i still love both games for their greatness in my own right. I accept the flaws and criticism/"negative reviews" and still keep on playing.

ps: just wanted to walk into the conversation, cus ive had a similiar argument and it's personal for me.

If you ask me Fugitive Mind is actually being a little nice when it comes to this developer. Both Borderlands 2 and Dying Light are mediocre at best. Yes, they have some aspects that are alright, BL2 have decent shooting mechanics and an alright level system. And Dying Light... Well Dying light is a bug ridden mess that you couldn't pay me to ever play again. And before you try and tell me that Dying Light is somehow original or stands out, may I remind you that its a Zombie game... Another... F@ck&ng... Zombie game... (continued below)

The only reason people love these games is because the developers made them so that you can play them with your friends and you will not being berated for micro-transactions and loot boxes. And believe me this, if you think BL3 or DL2 will not have those in them, you are sorely mistaken. Hell, it would not even surprise me if they charged you to join a co-op session with your friends, and you idiots would actually pay for it because you have no spines and are unwilling to speak with your wallets.

Fearless512 before you get upset and immediately throw out words like 'liar', think of an actual intelligent/critical response, come back and we can have an adult conversation. Have a nice day :)
