Sorry to bother you but i wanted to ask a question about your workshop mod 'Mass Effect's Omni Tool with Shepard's Arm'.
It has been a game changer having that in Fallout 4 vr since Bethesda didn't bother adding hands to the game.
But i'm keen to use plain hands, i made a hand model the right size and then replaced body.obj in the vr_controller_vive_1_5
folder but it won't show in steam vr.
My question is, was there more to making your mod than replacing the vive controller with a plain old .OBJ of hands from Mass effect?

That's great! I'll be aware of issues with the portal gun. If I even find a way to fix something I'll let you know(though I'm sure my lua knowledge isn't near yours if you even made that thing work)
Suffocation shouldn't be a worry though, since by Big Ape you should have a breathing EPP.

you seem like you know what you're doing and it'd be great to see the Portal Gun have some sort of lore-friendly implementation, so feel free to use it in your mod! But please remember that even though it might not look like it, I'm still somewhat working on the Portal Gun, more specifically on the script , two coop variants of the portal gun (P-Body's and Atlas') and longfall boots.

Hey Sheev Palpatimo. I'd like to know if you're interested in having your Portal Gun item for Starbound included in a mod I'm making. If you've played Terraria expert mode you know about the treasure bags for bosses, that are given to each player who helped defeat the boss. I've implemented a system to do this for Starbound, and I'm looking for/creating weapons and cool items to add as rewards for defeating bosses. My idea was to implement the Portal Gun as a reward in Big Ape's treasure bag, as the "Apexture Science Handheld Portal Device"

Obviously credit would be given. But it's up to you if you want it included or not.

I no longer have the source files, if you unpack and decode the files, feel free to use them in your project, but don't forget to credit BioWare since the weapon replaces are just animations with extracted models from Mass Effect 3.
