...We only met a few times in the past, and we didn't know each other very well, still don't I guess. I've always had it in the back of my mind to reach back out to you, but with so much going on for so long, I never took the time to. Along with that, I began to see the work you were doing online, and I didn't want it to seem like a "Oh hey, you knew me before, and now you're famous! Wanna be friends again?" type deal...
I only just learned of your passing roughly an hour ago.
In the end, after all these years, I regret not reaching back out when I could have.
I hope you know that you were fantastic at what you did, and I hope you had an amazing life.
We may have not known each other well. But I will miss you nevertheless.
