i rarely write in-depth reviews for games, but my god.. this game deserves it.
what was once a fun and innovative battle royale shooter is now a complete and utter disaster.

throughout my time playing this game, i have yet to have a single session that is free of bugs. the game in its current state is bloated with micro-transactions, has bugs that have been in the game for years and still aren't fixed, is riddled with cheaters and behind it all is a company that doesn't give a single ♥♥♥♥ about the playerbase.

respawn entertainment unfortunately have sold their soul to the multi-billion dollar conglomerate company EA. i am biased of course as EA permanently suspended my account with no warning for typing a swearword in a videogame where you shoot and kill people, yes you read that correctly. even though after joining a ranked lobby you have a 50/50 chance of getting told to kill yourself, the support team only cares about toxicity in the in-game chat, not the voice chat. you are completely free to throw any racist slurs in the voice chat as you please, since it is not monitored and people do not get punished! dont bother reporting at all since as soon as you hit the send report button, your report gets immediately deleted. of course, if they dont give a ♥♥♥♥ about people literally hacking in their own game, why would they care about toxicity? instead they care about banning loyal players with no given warning.

a slow and painful death awaits this game, and i will not shed a single tear when the game's servers finally shut down.
eat ♥♥♥♥ and die EA.

amazing game. takes whats best from multiple AAA titles that have grown stale and boring over time and creates something new and enjoyable. feels like discovering TF2 all over again.
