Great fun with friends, especially with custom maps

I bought this game in 2015 because it looked cool. I put some time into it and i had fun, but it never grabbed me. However, in September of 24, i got hooked. I had learned of the series's history, from the first Elite in 84, an all that entails, and everything after. I learned about the in game lore, the ships, and everything. I also found some fun new things added by updates and DLC from the years i hadnt played, and now i love the game. The sound design and visuals are also top notch, always have been. It's not perfect, and its confusing at first, and i wish Frontier was in a position financially to truely revitalize this game now, but ill take what i can get.

My only hope is that Braben holds true to the promise that if the game ever gets shut down, they will make it work in offline mode before hand so it never goes away

Such a well made, engaging, and fun game. Has a wonderful community, with devs and a CEO who actually care, even with Sony's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ breathing down their neck. Arrowhead themselves deserve all the praise. And the updates show that they are in fact listening

Its not a very good RPG. It really isnt. look elsewhere for that. But for an open world exploration game made by Bethesda in the Fallout universe, it is very good and very fun. And this engine is WAY better than the previous ones.

Another Bethesda game. It’s exactly what you expected. Is it a little too wide and a little too shallow? Yes. Is it still fun and engaging? Yes. Can’t wait for the modding kit to get released.

I mean. its every Halo except for 5, on PC, with NEW content, and still being updated. Of course its worth it

For what was originally a mobile game it was perfectly fine. Gameplay was basic but playable, controls were fine, and the graphics were not awful. felt like a late ps2 game. Story was pretty decent and i was kinda upset it ended on a cliff hanger that never got resolved. Worth playing if you like the Dues Ex world. not worth it if you just want good gameplay

The campaign is very good. great addition to the reboot story. Excited to see where it goes next

Im having fun in MP. i suck. a lot. worse than any previous cod. but thats because this plays different and i havent ♥♥♥♥♥♥ used to it yet. i like a lot of the new mechanics too. not all of them. the perk system thing isnt...great but i really like the weapon tree thing. i find that interesting. All in all, id say its fun but needs some work. luckily we get a 2 year lifecycle to this one finally so maybe we will actually see it flourish

Edit: 2 years later and im still upset at MWIII being a full game and not DLC....but MWIII was decent. Black Ops 6 looks ok too, but im waiting for a sale on that

This game's balance is complete and utter garbage. Unless you already have hundreds of hours played already or are willing to drop tons of real money on weapons and equipment, then you will be at a complete disadvantage. The only battle where things are even remotely balanced is the very first training mission. After that, you will be completely shut down by people with long range automatic weapons. The default gun is worse at EVERYTHING compared to ANY AUTOMATIC GUN. If you do not use an automatic gun you will NOT get any kills and you will NOT have fun. Plain and simple.

I get on and think "I'll play for an hour, that's all" and then I look and it's been 5 hours and I think "ehh, one more hour is fine".
