This game is questionable. i understand what they were going from, but it surprises me this came out AFTER human revolution. This game has some great ideas, and some changes from the classic DE but has one huge concerning flaw.

you could give me or anyone else this game as an extended demo and we wouldn't be able to tell the difference.

The game feels clunkier than DE:HR. to even get mine to get to the title screen i had to download specific windows distrobutions (2010 x86 for anyone struggling with the steam issue). they removed the inventory system of DE:HR and replaced it with an inventory/store. this for me killed the fun, as you can purchase ammo, weapons and upgrades anywhere defeating a lot of the free-roam elements of DE. The story is short (for me 4.9 hours + all side quests) and you can beat it without any proper augments.

I think at the time a paid episode based DE game may have been viable but in 2024, games with the same level of story and game-play are being produced on phones for free. This shouldn't be a paid game, and if it was it is definitely worth less than the current 8.50. At the end of the day though, i did have a lot of fun. if you are thinking of getting this game, i would get it as part of the Deus Ex bundle rather than stand-alone.

Despite it being a mobile version of Deus Ex thus the graphics look bad and many npcs are copy paste like a thug out of Vampire Bloodlines it's not a bad game if you're a Deus Ex Fan. If you're not a fan of the series I recommend the first game as is it is more traditional in the rpgs sense unlike the newer games. You go to Deus Ex for more of the story and universe than the gameplay. Cyberpunk is more up your alley if you want a science fiction with a good mesh of gameplay, story and universe.

Much better than I expected from a mobile game.
