Throne of Lies is a great game with an ATROCIOUS, disgusting, violating and nasty online community. The devs updated with the ability for players to report each other, and that's all these twelve year olds needed to finish off their fedora-wearing Joker self-images.

Good game to play with friends.

If you play online and do anything whatsoever, other players will report you. Garbage feature to an otherwise awesome game.

Hmm, we do forewarn on our store page that we heavily moderate the game, but trust us: look at our #justice channel in Discord to see some of the ban reasons popping up. After seeing these, the "report everyone" guys look like the best crowds out there in the sea of online gaming trolls.

If you are annoyed by overly sensitive players (they will exist -- the downside of social games), you should play with people from our Discord, instead. We can't "Minority Report" toxic or "I report you for no reason" people, but we can do that for our Discord (12k players inside and been around for 2 years -- literally toxic free. We only need to ban once per month+).

It's truly a different experience -- give it a shot: https://discord.gg/tol

Most online games these days will encounter some form of toxicity/immaturity, but I believe our community is actually way more enjoyable than the average online game, comparably. Don't worry if you are reported -- there's a good chance they got punished for false reporting since I can confirm you have 0 bans/warnings on your account!

Seriously about that Discord though -- give it a shot. The game is 4 months old and the Discord is 2 years and change old. Solid community vs new swarms of unpredictable players (that we HOPE are good, but unfortunately our competitor doesn't ...... effectively moderate, so... sometimes we get interesting people).

Thanks! Glad to hear it! That was exactly our #feedback-discussions topic in our Discord @ https://discord.gg/tol -- would love to hear your voice! It *is* annoying when people say that -- even toxic and baity. We're trying to see what the community thinks about it when it comes to moderation.

Btw, of course, just because someone threatens it doesn't mean you'll ACTUALLY be reported! Chances are, if they actually did report you, it may backfire if you didn't do anything wrong.

I've had an oppertunity to play since the updates.
The community is less toxic; my only issue is the constant baiting by "reported" as a response to anything I say. I can ignore that though. Nice updates, good work guys!

PS -- Did you try a game since the new update ?

I was thinking about you when I posted a #news announcement in our Discord with the feedback discussion of the week:

> Is it considered toxic to say in the middle of the game "Reported!", since it can be seen as "baiting"?

If you have something to offer, we'd love to hear you discuss it in #feedback-discussions this week~

Hi fidgetswift, I just wanted to see if you had a chance to try joining a community game in our Discord ( https://discord.gg/tol ). We recently had our 1.1 patch that revamped the UI, added a new "Casual Mode", additional customizations, and even put extra people on handling reports so those fedora-wearing report-frenzied people can be dealt with appropriately.

So if anyone reported you for no reason or a bogus reason instead of just threatening to, we can assure you that it BACKFIRED and they were the ones that most likely received disciplinary action (since I can see you have a flawless record - thanks for being a fine citizen of the castle).

We hope you'd try again. You can reach out to me (i42-Xblade) or anyone in #ask-a-guide 24/7 if you have questions or require assistance.
