Had my eye on this for a long time, and bought it a year ago and put it on my to-play list. Checked the discussions and patch notes every now and then. I purposely wanted to wait to get past all the initial release issues most games have nowadays and small fixes for quests etc.

Game runs smoothly, really nice environment and graphics. Took a little bit of time for me to get more comfortable with all the game features and ways to approach various missions.

Defintely not a hack and slash game. The stealth and sense of where enemies can see reminds me a bit of the old commados game. Combat, when it does occur is a last resort, with crossbows being useful to weaken enemies before switching to melee. Watching guard patrol routes can allow you to deploy traps to aid in takedowns, and of course sneaking up and backstabbing is a handy way to dispatch or do a lot of damage as well.

Crafting is useful, at first i ignored all the junk items thinking there was no value in taking them, but shortly after found the crafting station and realised all the stuff can be dismantled into useful basic components for later upgrading weapons, armours, traps and health/energy syringes.

Lots of little things in the game show an attention to detail and I found myself pleasantly suprised with events and missions that i came across that had a nice uniqueness and variety to them.

Only minor issues i came across is the ui icons on weapons and on screen, not knowing what some of them meant, but have slowly pieced together what they mean now. Figured out the keybindings for items from searching the discussions, pressing R and highlighting the item and pressing the number keys 0-9 binds it to that key for quick switching. But changing skill chips for abilities or weapons in the inventory will remove that particular number binding, so sometimes have to rebind again.

Really enjoying this game. Developers have done a great job, and i look forward to the expansion and any future stuff they do.
