TL:DR: I've played a ****ton prior to steam. There's a lot of bang for your buck, and the speed is way beyond bigger name FPSs like you can't believe. Watch Titanfall 2 highlights from FrothyOmen, itsEthereal, and MrBlaBlak for proof. Get this game. For it's price tag of $10-$30 bucks, you won't regret it.

Actual Review:

I got 500+ hours on Origin, been playing since day 1, and had to rebuy the game to support the release on Steam. The current sale as is for $10 is a steal for the amount of action you can get for one of the fastest FPSs in the market today. Hopefully this release on steam will help reach the audience it deserves when its initial release was drowned out by the release of Overwatch, Battlefield, and Call of Duty all at the same time.

EDIT: To add on my initial review, here's some additional insight from me on what's offered in this game.

Singleplayer: Relatively short compared to campaigns offered in other FPSs like CoD, but it's the right amount of length considering how intense battles can get during certain missions. It's the right length for those who either want to play in a single sitting, or those who want to play a mission here or there sparingly.

There's a gauntlet time trial at the start that'll help you improve your speed and movement for multiplayer. And BT, your titan companion, will grow on you. No spoilers, but Respawn's story writers definitely know how to tug on your heartstrings.

Multiplayer: This is where the meat of the game lies. With Titanfall's engine, the speed and frantic pacing will test and improve your reaction and tracking abilities unlike no other. There's a wide array of MP modes to choose from (Attrition, Hardpoint, Pilot v. Pilot only, Live Fire, etc.). And if you're not in the mood to fight against people, there's a co-op mode where you can play in tower defense objective setting.

MP also allows for 100, yes, 100 regenerations (Prestiges in CoD terms), where each regen is 50 levels each. All weapons are pretty balanced for their respective uses, and even the weapons you start out with (e.g. The R201 AR, CAR SMG & Kraber Sniper) are still used by the biggest veterans of the game. And the community in game is "generally" friendly, at least that how it was prior to the steam release. Matches are usually "good luck"s at the start, and "good games" at the end in chat. You'll have the toxicity as of all franchises once in awhile , but it's not as frequent compared to bigger names like CoD.

Finally, for those who have waited long for this game to Steam or for those who want a change of pace for their FPS library, your time as come. Get this game, and soon you'll be having pilots in your pipe, five by five.
