fanglore is here! Let's talk about War Thunder now.

[Graphics]
I am playing on Ultra settings preset (but also I`ve been playing on lowest settings and they are pretty fine). Render distance loads new entities every time in front of your face even on the maximum level, but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, ultras are so good! God rays are fascinating! I love to fly an aircraft in the dawn. Detalisation is fabulous! Everything is cool. DLSS reducing GPU usage to lowest level even of Quality preset. So you can enjoy high FPS and high quality image without overloading GPU with TAA.

[Sounds]
The music is pretty nice, but I turned it off to play in the quiet. At the same time, the sounds of machines are incredible! Every detail of the soundtrack was meticulously recorded, so you can simply put on your headset, turn off the music, and enjoy the hum of the jet engine, the roar of the tank engine, and so on. Artillery hits and gun shots sound very bassy! Also, proximity sound is a very useful thing in tank realistic battles, so listen carefully!

[Community]
You really can find very nice people there. Anyway, there are a lot of dumb guys, who are doing dumb things, and your team starts to lose the game. But what game does not have them? So it's really better to play with friends, doing some tactical things and having fun and exciting kills during the battles.

[Gameplay]
You can use a keyboard and mouse, you can use a VR set, or you can use a potato with levers and buttons and control almost all the systems in a tank or airplane (and also ships, helicopters). It has very simple controls in general, and you can continue adding new buttons as you play the game. Very realistic physics, also in terms of damage. You can try yourself in the 3 main battle modes: Arcade, Realistic, and Simulator battles. Learn the ropes in the Arcade, try to play Realistic a little, get it, become a killing machine in Realistic battles (or a killing machines' target). Try Simulator battles. Get sick of controls and mechanics. Return to the Simulator some time later. Get it. Kill everyone.

[Something about the negative reviews]
Yes, there is some xp grinding. But if you know how to get more lions or more xp, you can easily upgrade your vehicles. As for me, I just like to join the game every day, collect my daily reward, play 2-4 battles, and get back to work. But use them wisely and I recommend using them in realistic battles after a little warmup in arcade battles.

[Summary]
I really like this game, with its realistic damage mechanics. Yeah, sometimes it looks very odd and incorrect, but try to find some fun in it. And I will give it...

9.5/10 non-penetration via subcaliber shell shot at a distance of 10m.
