Wanted to like this game, but just couldn't. It gets more of a sideways/slightly down thumb. I like the cute aesthetic, and 3d platformer inspiration. The main problem is the game setup itself. You're not beating levels like crash or spryo. You are just trying to collect hidden eggs around as thats what gating your progress due to abilities unlocked. Theres also hearts which are a second form of gating progress. The main problem is that the game gives no guidance or assistance on what you're supposed to do, and things can be so obtrusive, including the puzzles. The interconnected levels including the hub are mazes where to go. You'll likely need a walkthroughout throughout playing the game which takes out a lot of the fun. Same as Psuedoregalia which like this game is an interconnected jumble. There's also no combat which takes away some of the fun. The story is non-existent.

Also a flight ability is gated by finding EVERY single egg in the game. The platforming involving momentum based rolling can be very finicky and hard to utilize consistently. I never felt like I knew when I would build up momentum and be able to keep it. The camera is terrible. As many have said the final boss part is pretty poorly designed. It's not terrible, just kind of amateur in design. Hat in Time is how you are supposed to do this genre, this isn't it. But you could do worse, as there as some good parts to it. 6/10.
