First Impressions
Save Jesus is a horrible physics game. The graphics are fine, but that is really the only upside of the game. I received this game for free, but wouldn’t suggest buying this game yourself.

Story
Cesar wants to kill Jesus, and a guy from the future is helping them. That’s it. Nothing more than a single sentence, but then again, you can tell the story was planned to be put in at the start of the game’s development and you can’t expect much from a physics puzzle game. 0.2/2.0
0.2

Gameplay
This game has broken physics. I like physics based games, and the concept for this game isn’t terrible, but the physics are. I SHOULDN’T GET A DIFFERENT RESULT WHEN I DO THE SAME THING! The game made me physically angry at times while trying to collect all three stars on every level. I had to use a WALKTHROUGH just to get every star, and the walkthrough hardly worked because of how broken the physics are! This game makes me very angry. I have to at least give this section a 0.3/2.0 simply because it has gameplay.

Art
Graphics
The graphics aren’t actually terrible. There really isn’t much to say but (you’re welcome) how of the art just occasionally stretched across the screen, just glitchy, but didn’t effect the gameplay. This section receives 0.4/1.0
Music/SFX
If there is music, I can’t remember it, which goes to show about the music, but the sound effects were exceptionally stock. The dialogue definitely was recorded on a microphone that wasn’t very good, and it contrasts to the other sound effects. This section gets 0.3/1.0. So in total, the art gets 0.7/2.0.
0.7

Enjoyment
This game, as I outlined in gameplay, made me very angry. However, I got a huge sense of relief whenever I complete a level. Not only from the sound that plays but from my anger being released. Other than completing a level, the only thing this game has is anger. This section can get no more than 0.2/2.0

Bonus
Bonuses include:
Ironic Enjoyment + 0.2
This game has NO good qualities. Other than ironic enjoyment, I can’t say anything good about this game. In all the bonuses this game only gets 0.2/2.0

Conclusion
This is a terrible game do not buy it. Despite all the jokes this is not a good game. Do not support this behavior from games on Steam. Do not buy this game ironically. This game is on the lower end of mediocre, and for that it’s hard to laugh at. Summed up, this game gets a total of...

This is a mini review: this is not totally in depth only because I have a schedule to keep up with reviews and today is a holiday. Now that that is over with, let’s get started.
First Impressions
Adventure Capitalist is a very generic clicker game that is only popular because everyone was playing it at some point. It doesn’t add much to the genre but does provide a user friendly interface.

Story
If you could even consider it a story, the story is that you want money. There is no story. 0.0/2.0
0.0

Gameplay
This is a generic clicker game, it does add a few things to the table, such as multiple currencies, but is still as boring as it seems. The only reason for one to play is if they like clicker games. While generic, this section gets 1.0/2.0

Art
Music/SFX
The music is kind of annoying at times. The sound effects, while there, are not as satisfying as they should be. 0.4/1.0
Graphics
The graphics are fine and the interface is pretty good. The art takes a retro feel that I kind of like. 0.8/1.0
In all that’s 1.2/2.0
1.2

Enjoyment
As they are made to be, clicker games are addictive. I expected this one to be addictive and it was for the longest time. Not sure I enjoyed it though. 0.8/2.0
0.8

Bonus
+ Real number names 0.3
+ Retro feel 0.2
0.5/2.0

Conclusion
A cut above the rest of clicker games I’ve played, Adventure Capitalist is summed up in one word. Generic. I only recommend it because it’s free. In the end it gets 3.5/10.0

First Impressions, You MUST try this game. I IMPLORE you, download this game, and play at least the first scene, if it’s off putting then you can choose to not play the game. BUT AT LEAST try.

Alright, on to the review.
So I review with 5 subjects, Gameplay, Story, Art (Music and Graphics), Enjoyment and Innovation/Bonus. Let’s start with game play.

Gameplay
This game... lacks in player control. I sometimes feel I go for long times without making a decision for the story and it gets boring. I can’t take too much off in this category because the story is amazing, and that is the real draw to a dating sim, I go deeper into that later. So really the gameplay can’t be given much merit because I also find that replaying many times (I go deeper into replaying in enjoyment) can get challenging when skipping through the text and suddenly the game stops so it can give me a full monologue where the words are slightly different then my other play through. Also, as I go into in enjoyment, a ton of the achievements are convoluted and hard to get because the game doesn’t even tell you what they are. To get all the achievements, I had to resort to a guide, not something I’m proud of but I had to do it. I give the gameplay a solid 0.9/2.0. Even with it’s flaws it still provides a game I feel I interact just enough in to consider it a game and not just a novel.
0.9

Story
Where this game lacks in play, it heaps on the story! Throughout the game you learn more about the characters and the whole magical situation you’re in. And the characters! On my original first play through, I didn’t see the whole picture of the game and almost immediately brushed off the characters as archetypes that you would select to go on dates with. Boy was I wrong! Every character feels real and have actual emotions that effect how I felt as a player. Next thing on the chopping block; the world. The game actually sets up a world of magical beings that are all inspired by Chinese and Taiwanese culture which really makes the game feel authentic. Last thing, the concept, I originally downloaded and played this game as a joke, considering I didn’t think I would enjoy a game with cat men in it, but as I kept playing I went looking for a reason to not like it, but I kept finding more things that I enjoyed. The story is quite pleasurable and makes me not want the game to end. This gets a good 1.9/2.0
1.9

Art
I like to look at graphics and music separately each worth one point. The graphics are adorable and don’t make me grimace the fact that I enjoy the cat people on screen, however, the full character models don’t seem to have enough expressions and almost sit there most of the time while their emotions play out in the corner. The close ups when the model zooms in a bunch, the pixels are easy to see, so that’s a minus. Still, the full pictures are adorable and I love them, but I wish there were more and that most of them weren’t locked behind very specific endings. The art is respectable but easy to see the flaws
0.6/1
The music is easily forgettable, but does provide a good background noise for when your playing, it does get repetitive when replaying, which gets annoying. The sound effects are perfectly timed and usually are used at appropriate times. I surprising enjoyed this game’s music when I think about that’s why it gets a 0.7/1.0 which makes the art have a 1.3/2.0
1.3

Enjoyment
Never did I think I would enjoy a dating sim with cat people, but I sure did. I don’t know what caught me, but this game continues to make me want to come back for more. I came back to it so many times I 100% completed it in 1 weekend. So yes, this game is highly addictive to the point where I can look past all the things that I didn’t like about replaying the game. But this is also the kind of game that leaves you with a lot in your stomach, knowing that there is no more you can do to squeeze the content out of this game, yet you still will want more. However, is this not the greatest king of game? Either way I enjoyed this game probably more than I should have. I can only give it a 2.0/2.0 on this one.
2.0

Innovation/Bonus
This is the category in which I award points for things I liked about the game that don’t fall under anything else
+0.3 Inspiration from Chinese and other cultures to create game world
+0.2 Bringing me into a game genre that I would never have known before
+0.3 A surprising depth to a game that seems like it was a concept before a story
+0.1 Changed my opinion entirely from the start of the game
+0.5 How could I forget? It’s FREE
+0.2 Charm
+0.4 It made me feel actual emotions
I don’t have much more to say about the game without spoilers. So, I have to give this section a 2.0/2.0
2.0

Conclusion
Get this game. It is enjoyable to even the most hesitant, even though I critiqued the heck out of this game it has a charm I cannot shake off. I suggest completing this game all the way. So my final rating, with all the categories added up is...
8.1/10.0
(This is a good score, I am a very hard grader)
