EDIT: Since i wrote this review i didn't feel any need to play this game further on. Game still runs like a dead person and looks similar. Rise even looks better because of less visual clutter and runs at 300fps native 4k. As long as devs don't understand, that there is no need for a deep story and come back to the roots of killing monsters, i see no future for me personally in this franchise. If i could refund, I'd do it. Weakest MonHun game i played, and i played every title since MHF2.
Coming to mainstream consoles and become not longer a underdog series hurt this franchise.
Maybe i see this game again when the expansion is coming.

7hrs on the clock, can't really say anything about the "game" since i watched like 4h of cutscenes in those 7 hrs. Would nominate this for any movie award.
Hard to get the typical Monster Hunter Vibe after this playtime, i hope that changes soon.
"Game" runs fine for me, but i have like top Hardware (78003xd and 4090), on 80fps without FG on 4k.
Here and there some hiccups to 20-30 fps. Sadly u have to be happy to get a game run 60fps with dlss and FG enabled in 2025.

Otherwise this MULTIPLAYER game is hard to get running in MULTIPLAYER with your friends. Feels like an application for a doctors degree the first time.

So if you have fun to play a game where you watch 10minutes of cutscenes into 5 minutes riding a pet on autopilot, then fighting a monster for 5 minutes and get the whole process starting again- you will love this game. Also the whole monster hunter grindset isn't there after this time. U fight a monster and can craft the weapon and like 3 armor parts after the first time.
Fun Fact: i wrote this whole review out of my mind while the game's running a cutscene... must be 10 minutes now.
