Sons of the forest is almost a masterpiece, that being said there are some pieces missing for it to really be a perfect game. The current pieces are amazing graphics, exciting cave systems, horrifying monsters, dynamic movement and attacks for enemies and base building.
The lacking pieces really stand out once you played the game for a few hours such as bad optimisation, dry and lacking sound design especially in guns, duped items, low damage for guns, low health since armour does so little, lacking in craftable utility and the stealth mechanics are almost non-existent.
Quest system kind of confusing aswell.

Extra pieces i would like:
Crafting utility (bandages, water pouch)
Being able to play stealthy if wanting to ( sneaking up on enemies and animals scares them away)
Stealthy backstab if sneaking up on enemy
Log carrier for better transportation
Better range for bow and more damage
Realistic consumables (having to cook water to drink it, having to cook food to eat it)
Better gun handling and feeling
More realism in Virginia and Kelvin (mostly kelvin)
More clothes and being to utilize the things we find for example if we find a life vest on the ground we should be able to use that or finding kevlar armour or a helmet.

Overall 7/10
Buy if your PC is good if not, don't. Wait for optimisation and then buy.

BEST FPS GAME!!! Tactical room clearing is on point. Gun sounds, visuals and mechanics are amazing. Graphics are amazing. Mod support decent, replayablitiy Very good, Gun customizing 7/10, Character customizing 3/10. Teamwork is necessary in order to not lose and mic is also appreciated by most players.
Overall Amazing game and still in beta i believe so for now 8.5/10 really recommend for any tactical shooter fans.

Very cool physics but the game sets ur pc on fire if you dont play on low settings, story mode a bit unclear but good, 8/10
