I bought this due to the high level of praise in the metroidvania community only to be met with:

- Sub-par combat that feels unresponsive and not very satisfying overall
- I haven't gotten very far but the exploration didn't seem too satisfying, especially with the confusing map system which kind of threw me out the loop fast.

I do have to say the artistic department for the game is very very good, some music tracks are very reminescent of Yoko Taro games and the visuals are a treat to the eye.
Sadly the gameplay doesn't match up with the artistic value of the game :'(

Very very charming game, you could tell it was made with passion and hard work which is not something you can behold in the modern gaming industry.
Definitely recommend this for people that like character action/rythmn games and strong stylized art direction

Got this for Bloodborne Emu/FromSoft titles and wow, this has changed my life already.
This software is marvelous, I can finally bypass the 60fps cap without installing engine-breaking mods and playing at a stable 1440p@144fps.
I do recommend this software for games that are capped by nature, making it perfect for older games or emu software, what comes to mind for me are games like Okami and WIndwaker HD, that I'll now be able to enjoy at a decent framerate :)
If you do have a Nvidia GPU, I heavily suggest that you enable G-SYNC + Fast-Sync if your monitor handles it and RTSS to enable NvIdia Reflex on games that do not support the technology.

Vergil in 5 is hands down the best DMC character all games included.
No more trick cancelling though :,(
