Absolutely fantastic game.

The basic game mechanic is that of a 3D puzzle platformer. The game features a unique gimmick where the player's character can shift in and out of shadows projected onto walls, allowing you to do things in the 2D shadow world that you might not be able to do in the 3D world.

As a puzzle platformer the game is competent, but where it really shines is in the environment and the storytelling. The game is set in 1920s Paris and done in a film noir style, heavy on art deco styling with a hint of steampunk as well. The player's character is the imaginary friend of a little girl, and the complexities of the world she lives in seen through the little girls eyes. The little girl is the only human character you see throughout most of the game, instead you witness things through the shadows cast on walls and the audio... giving you the feeling of eavesdropping on the adult world from the next room, there but not noticed.
