Black Desert Online is, in most respects, a standard MMO experience. While I don’t agree with the claim that it represents the “next generation” of MMOs, I did find its character creation to be the most detailed and flexible compared to others in the genre. Sadly, this impressive customization stands out as the game’s strongest feature, while many other aspects feel familiar and similar to what you’ve seen in plenty of other MMOs.

Whether Terraformers is right for you depends largely on what you want from a game. This isn’t a digital garden where you simply plant and watch things grow. Instead, it’s a demanding series of difficult decisions focused on managing resources, planning ahead, and dealing with some luck. I had hoped Terraformers would whisk me away from this fading Earth into a sci-fi fantasy, but it didn’t. What I found was a challenging strategy game that kept me hooked, always wanting to play just one more turn. That feeling is very familiar and one I enjoy. While Terraformers won’t take you to a new world, it will keep your mind engaged as you work through time on this one.

This Means Warp is built to appeal to players who can gather a group of friends for cooperative play. The core mechanics of combat and repairs are simple to grasp, but once multiple players join in, things quickly turn into chaotic fun. With time and practice, groups can become well-coordinated crews. The biggest drawback is the repetitive gameplay loop, which becomes less of an issue with more players involved. Playing solo with AI teammates can be frustrating. If you have friends who enjoy science fiction and ship battles and are ready for some controlled chaos and laughs, This Means Warp is a great pick.

The major update Reign of Sand for Atlas Fallen adds a focused narrative and voice acting that transform the original into a highly enjoyable AA adventure. Gliding across the dunes on a mission to find the Knights and topple a god is made even more exciting thanks to a powerful and satisfying combat system. Atlas Fallen: Reign of Sand feels like the Definitive Edition, and I’m really happy the developers gave it the upgrade it needed.

Amanda the Adventurer is a charmingly eerie tribute to a time of childhood innocence wrapped in nostalgia. Its mix of kid-friendly cartoon style, clever puzzles, and interactive horror creates a lasting impression that stays with you well beyond the ending. Though it’s a short game, it offers a worthwhile journey, particularly for those who enjoy psychological horror or puzzle-solving.

Few video games manage to stay as relevant today as they were at the start of the decade, but Worms achieves this thanks to its distinctive graphics, simple physics, and limitless customization options. It continues to feel fresh and enjoyable even now.

Worms Crazy Golf offers a complete entertainment experience with thrilling gameplay, explosive worms, and challenging obstacles to conquer on the path to a hole in one. It’s an enjoyable game for both golf fans and those who don’t mind taking a few extra shots while exploring the course and discovering hidden surprises.

Besides the unclear guidance, Vane’s controls feel loose and sometimes fail to respond properly, making puzzles and movement more frustrating than they need to be. The collision detection can be inconsistent as well, which is a real problem in a game where puzzles often require pushing objects or landing precisely on small metal platforms. The only bright spot in handling these awkward controls is the rarely used but very smooth synthwave soundtrack.
