It's fun but not worth putting time into and picking up this game long term.

With the time limits, servers reset every month. This reset is wiping all progress besides the blue prints of weapons. You lose your base and must restart the in-game story over and over and over.
Its repetitive and not the fun kind.

The gatcha micro-transactions are so deep in this game!
You want your base to look pretty? Spend $60 on a pack.
Want a different color wall? Thats another $40 in a different pack!
Want a cool bike to ride on? Spend over $100 on a lottery system to see if you get it! Oh my didnt get it? Take this .50 cent item in game instead! But keep spending $20 for the chance of the bike over and over. Its only "guaranteed" if you spend $150!! ON AN IN GAME BIKE COSMETIC.
its worse than buying a Sims pack.

Its laggy. repetitive. full of micro transactions.
The game company doesnt listen to community feedback, and are only hoping for players who are whales, palayers who will spend THOUSANDS on the game to just play the same missions over and over.
Play modded DayZ instead, this game? not worth it.

Theres no community servers, only officials.
Need to take a break from the game? Your base gets deleted if you spend a little over a week off.
Hope you saved the blueprint!

*fart noise* won't play again

Due to not wanting to support a monopoly, I choose to vote with my wallet.

I encourage you to do the same, and if you play this game (regardless if you think its good or not) consider if the developers see a dime of the money you put on this game, or any of the tech wizs.
They rarely do. I doubt that they are, and presently the developers have been quiet about their work place enviroment. Until the developers have shared positive insight, I will choose to not purchase anything from this game. Sure I may play here n there, and view the leaderboards, but you won't catch me spending $25 on one cosmetic in a game.

A Masterpiece Abandoned, Left to Rot Without a Grave

I’ve spent countless hours immersed in Red Dead Redemption 2’s campaign on Xbox, replaying it so often I can quote entire scenes by heart. RDR1 was monumental for me as a teenager, but RDR2 became even more significant as I grew into adulthood. The campaign is breathtaking—a masterpiece of storytelling, world-building, and character development.

And that’s where the positivity ends.

The online mode is a frustrating mess. It’s plagued by modders, cheaters, and glitches, with an obsolete report system that accomplishes nothing. Rockstar’s solution? Remove features like naming your horse or posse instead of addressing the root problems. The lack of updates and content has left the mode feeling abandoned, and the community that loves this game is left with nothing but frustration.

It’s heartbreaking to see so much potential wasted. For players like me who’ve spent hundreds of dollars and years investing in the game, the lack of cross-progression is another betrayal. All my achievements, purchases, and progress on Xbox are locked away, with no way to access them on PC. I’d have to start over entirely, losing everything I’ve earned.

The real tragedy is Rockstar’s decision to pull the plug on a game with such a devoted fanbase. This isn’t just about updates—it’s about trust. If a game as beloved and successful as RDR2 can be abandoned so easily, why should we, as fans, believe they’ll support their future projects?

I’ve grown tired of companies leaving behind projects that have so much love and devotion from their community for the potential of something better. RDR2 has been cast aside like the dirt under a cowboy’s boot before he steps into the muck.

Would I recommend this game? The campaign is unforgettable—a must-play for anyone who loves storytelling. But supporting Rockstar as a company? Absolutely not. Developers rarely benefit from post-launch sales, so consider carefully where your money goes.

I love this game with all my heart, but I can’t recommend supporting a company that treats its creations—and its community—this poorly.

Loved it as a kid, can't stand it now.
Its been in beta for years, and theres paid DLC.

I used to love Wolf Quest. It was my first video game I played as a kid, and I have a lot of nostalgic memories tied to it. Back in the day, I played it for extra credit in my FFA class (Future Farmers of America). I sat there for hours playing the original version and tinkering with my Game Boy at the same time—probably because the game was so lacking in content, I had to entertain myself.

Fast forward to now, as an adult and a 3D artist, I thought I’d revisit Wolf Quest and see what’s changed. Unfortunately, the answer is… not much. The gameplay loop is repetitive to the point of boredom, just like many other negative reviews have pointed out. The combat is so bad and clunky that I can’t get past two hours of playtime without feeling frustrated. The controls feel like something out of a janky early-2000s 3D game—even Crash Bandicoot had smoother controls.

The game’s updates over the years sparked some excitement in me initially. I wanted to love it again, but I can’t ignore its flaws. It’s been in “beta” for so long that they made a second version… which is also in beta. And for some reason, there are paid DLCs for a game IN BETA. Why?

To make things worse, the developers don’t seem interested in making the game fun or engaging.
Their community Discord reflects this attitude—it’s oddly oppressive. I once tried sending a heartfelt message about how Wolf Quest inspired me as a kid, hoping it would let the devlopment and management team know that their game left an impact. It was about six sentences long with 11 emojis (I’m expressive, sue me). My message was quickly deleted by the auto mod for "too many emojis". I asked about it, kindly, in general chat I said verbatim "Are emojis allowed? I'm having some trouble with the auto mod xoxo" A moderator publicly told me that 11 emojis was “a lot.” I’m sorry, but what?
They're emojis, it's a discord, I wasn't aware that someone could be allergic to color or expression.

For a game that inspired me so much as a kid, I'm left to think that I'm just blinded by nostalgia; and it hit me like a brick wall when I tried to play it again.

The bottom line is that the game feels like it’s still stuck in the past. The gameplay is outdated, the content is sparse, and the DLCs aren’t even integrated into the game properly. There’s no customizable difficulty either—just a couple of preset modes to choose from. For a game that’s been in development for years, this isn’t good enough.

I want to support small indie developers, and I want to encourage other to as well, but Wolf Quest just isn’t worth it.
Don’t waste your money.
The game isn’t fun, and neither is the attitude towards the player base.

Edit: I did not intentionally provide incorrect information about the game's finances, and I was open to correcting any mistakes. However, the developer responded with disrespect and ignited a witchhunt against a community member. This behavior is uncalled for and harmful, and for me, it’s genuinely heartbreaking to see.

There are other card games out there that let you turn down the music volume before you have to complete the first two games and tutorial.
Not worth the ear destruction.

As far as gameplay goes, it's a card game, and its alright but its just not satisfying unlike magic or some of the others.
This is very cash-grab mobile-game like.

Pay to Win, Battlegrounds, Laggy Skyrim
I want to love this game, but it is not worth the library space.

New players are forced to die over and over again to be abuse unless they partner up with their own veterans.
This is because the matchmaking is currently set so that high veteran players who know the game well, can drop their gear score and min max it under 24 to enter noob lobbies.
Once in these new player lobbies they kill the new players (since they know the spawn locations) and rinse and repeat. The veterans collect loot, drop it on the market, and continue the cycle while crying for more player base.

The game is pay to win, since you're able to purchase "cosmetic" skins in the game's store that increase your stats. These stats vary from weapon damage increases, to movement speed and more.

A great concept, but poor execution.

VRChat is a game where you can create, or buy anything to upload to the game.

Despite the guidelines being 13+ many children are found utilizing the game, and due to the game being utilized as a social platform, this game is poorly moderated.

Online sexual harassment cases, pedophilia, internet doxing, and more have not only been reported to the moderation team but also the police. Even with the United States judicial system ruling sentences, the VRChat community and moderation team have done little to stop and fix their community.

As a game that entirely focuses around sexual content due to the public variety of uploading avatars, worlds, and the actions of the community, this game is before its time, and too harmful to children and teenagers.

The moderation team is not based with users who care for their community's health, but rather the moderation team fosters drinking culture, drug abuse, and sexual exploitation of avatars that appear early similar to children, little girls.

When jumping in you're required to play with a maximum of 3 other friends.

Immediately after the game's release theres server issues, granted most games hit this kind of issue now-and-days.
However, due to these server issues, moding the game was like pulling teeth.

After gathering your friends and jumping into your "first video" you now quickly have to realize there is only one camera for he four of you. Different POV's aren't available when creating the content. When running into many of the enemies, you're often hit with how overpowered they are. If you entire crew dies, theres no way to review your footage you captured, or progress. So often, you run in, and after someone is low health, you head back [if you even make it past the first monster]

The game feels out of it's depth and a pretty low par fun game you could pop on and play with your friends once or twice but that would be in one evening and never again.
It did not stay downloaded in my library for more than a week, its April 7th, and it came out April 1st.
