Its pretty fun, but a lot of the dlc/microtransactions practices are not so great though...
I do kind of like the progression system and loot system in this one more than VT1, but I would honestly still recommend Vermintide 1 in most ways.

Combat is a bit of a hit or miss in 2, sometimes feels great, other times lacks impact and feels "floaty"
I would give Vermintide 1 a try first before playing 2.
