Bought this game after its ups and downs, after the Sony scandal and the waves of nerfs—just in time for the illuminates to be announced.

I like it. As a player of the "Send four morons to solve issues™" genre, Helldivers 2 has so many dynamics to be considered, like strategies, loadout consideration, routing, terrain utilization, and horde control. Communication with friends can create this addicting loop of either goofing or optimizing through a seemingly impossible mission. 

Truly the 2024 best multiplayer game.
