The smoothed camera movement gives me motion sickness, its not snappy, you let go of the button and it keeps rotating etc.

Sorry about that. You can adjust this behavior by going the the game settings and selecting "Game->Flight->Camera Speed". Increase that slider all the way 10 and it should help.
