Played through the entire series and this is by far my favourite game yet. People have a really strange attachment to things that weren't all that great in this series. Unless your idea of an RPG is to be able to randomly murder everyone you encounter with little to no consequence, there is great times to be had here. People talk about a lack of connection to the other parts but

If you killed Leilana in Origins all this does is she has a line in Inquisition how she didn't actually die. The keep is full of these choices that don't actually do much besides like 1 off hand line somewhere.

Gameplay is great, much more like Dragon's Dogma than the previous games, I do like it. The three classes all play quite differently with a couple of different build directions so that'll be great when it comes to multiple playthroughs.

I like the writing just fine and I don't know why some people have such a big issue with it. Fair point, I do play in German language so that might make a small difference in perception.
