Endlessly enjoyable, I've played this on both Steam and Mobile. Anywhere you take it Balatro is an accessible, fun, challenging and rewarding card building rogue like anyone can enjoy.

Definitely going up as my game of the year contender.

To my welcome surprise, Croteam has knocked this sequel out of the park! I have to applaud each and every person who worked on this title, which I think delivers in everything it sets out to do.

A step up from the original, it delivers on humour, humanity and philosophy in a way which is not overly heavy handed, and also views ideas from multiple angles.

I am not joking when I say I feel better having played this; in the rather negative times we are in it is a completely positive breath of fresh air that does not feel condescending or naive, and can lift your spirits if you are receptive or in need.

TLDR: In summary? 10/10, if you loved the first or love puzzle games you owe it to yourself to try this game; and if you are in need of a positive outlook on humanity then you need to play this game.

An absolutely stellar FPS that is on the verge of taking off. It's Portal meets Halo with (in my opinion) a dash of Quake 3 Arena which makes for the perfect blend of a multiplayer FPS you can just hop in and enjoy.

The portal mechanic definitely adds a lot in terms of the depth you can go to for strategy in this game, but I would definitely say it's accessible.

At the moment the only downside is that the devs seem to have been caught unawares by how popular this would get, and so there are currently some stability/capacity issues with the servers. However these are being actively worked on so I don't anticipate it will be an issue by the time you read this review.

An absolute masterpiece of a game. A stellar experience from beginning to end, and surely the first worthy 'full' VR title to grace the platform.

For those of us who patiently waited for another Half-Life title, it was worth it.

A thought provoking and rather well written open world game, especially for those who don't follow tech headlines as much. While a lot of what this game (and the first) predicted was pretty obvious even in hindsight, it still manages to make some pretty intriguing statements and honestly I feel predicted a few things pretty well.

Gameplay wise, I like it a lot. Although the game could use more non-lethal options as there's far too many situations where it's easier (and more fun) to go the lethal route; despite this not making sense in any narrative context. Honestly the best part though is the seem less multiplayer, where you can randomly partake in events in other peoples games (often without a loading screen in between)

Overall an 8.5/10 - A few places for improvement, but well worth playing

A solid conclusion to the story set out in Far Cry 5. The gameplay is quite solid as well (no massive deviation from the standard Far Cry formula but a few interesting additions are sprinkled throughout ability wise).

Overall a solid 8/10 game, but considering the short story I would still say wait until it's in the <$25 (CAD) to pick it up

An absolutely fantastic detective/visual novel game that started on the GBA in the early 2000's. Don't let the age of it fool you though, they've updated the graphics using the original line-art (and it looks quite good in my opinion).

Overall well worth the price (but a must have if on sale) for anyone who wants a good story/character focused game.

9.5/10

This game calls back to the surf/bunny hopping days on Source titles, and I absolutely love it.

Although I've only played a bit so far, the game has excellent charm, good graphics, and solid overall design.

The controls are pretty fluid for all the different mechanics, and I'd say they've recreated/improved elements of the source movement system pretty well (I love the addition of a speed boost tracker to assist in helping with b hopping).

If I had one criticism it would be that the movement still seems just a bit... floaty than I would expect. I think that may just be part and parcel of using Unity though, so I don't really consider it a negative against the game.

8.5/10 - Would definitely recommend picking this up for anyone who loved to play these types of maps in 1.6/Source.

I don't typically write Steam reviews, but in this instance this game is too great a gem for me not to.

In essence Ion Mai- I mean Ion Fury is a fantastic throwback to the 90s FPS games of old. It is more than that however, it features many modern technical and aesthetic improvements over the likes of Duke Nukem and Shadow Warrior. The controls are fluid and the gunplay is very well handled.

There is also a massive amount of levels to play through (30 odd individual levels over some 7 chapters), and as I've only gotten most of the way through the 1st chapter I cannot comment yet on the rest. The levels I have played though are lovingly crafted and well realized.

If you loved playing Duke Nukem, Shadow Warrior, or Blood back in the day you owe it to yourself to try Ion Fury, it really is an excellent follow up to those games.

Given the recent turn of events, it's hard to support a game that will be disappearing soon (Support is promised for further purchases, but there is no way to guarantee this).

As there are a myriad of issues with the location it is moving to, I would recommend getting this on console. Fun, but not so fun you want to install Spyware on your machine...
