I haven't read reviews before buying this game so I was totally unprepared for the emotional damage it does.
It's truly beautiful game, characters and their struggles feel real. They have normal, sometimes mundane stories. Not all of them are likeable nor perfect, but that's what makes the game so much more relatable and in the end, there wasn't a character I haven't cried for.
It's not just story about passing, it's about acceptance of mistakes, failures, sudden loses and so much more. I genuinely can’t recommend this enough.

Perfect game to just chill and relax after long day

Keep in mind that I looove Ori and the Blind Forest and I'm writing this with a heavy heart. I was looking forward to this game and… I’m disappointed. It's not a continuation, it's literally second Ori game. The game structure is the same, objectives are the same and so is progressing through the story. Though, there are improvements to fight mechanics and you have more control over your movement, which makes it more enjoyable to just run around.

Locations are even more beautiful than in the first game and the soundtrack is sublime, but I did not like the story one bit. It actually left me heart-broken and miserable for a few days and I don't mean it as a compliment for some elaborated emotional plot with a bitter-sweat ending. No, it was unnecessarily cruel and ruthless, destroying every good message that the first game tried to convey.

Came for the Ori-like Dark Souls, stayed for the lore
