Early Access Review
If you have watched the Storage Wars TV show, this is pretty much what you expect. Win lockers, sell stuff, bring some of it to experts for a value estimate (later on you can do it yourself). I am close to getting my own Pawn Shop, not sure what happens after that. But there is a clear progression path so far. It does seem like the NPC's bidding bid higher if there are more valuable items, even if they are in a lockbox or something. And generally speaking you will make money, even on hard mode. It seems pretty difficult so far to lose really big on a locker. Either way, I'm having a blast.

If, like me, you enjoy building something this could be a fun game. I certainly enjoyed it. It's nice to slowly increase the size and number of cabinets in your arcade. There's a story. Bit hit and miss maybe, depending on your tastes. Me personally, I enjoyed it enough. Either way definitely not the star of the game. Those are the arcade cabinets, each of which are their own minigame. They are all pretty simple, but there are so many there will be some that you enjoy.

I am a fan and collector of animation and animation paraphernalia. I am also a graduate in wildlife management and these two interests overlap, I always enjoy animation with animal characters. This game seems almost tailor-made for me and I absolutely adore it.

The animation is fantastic, as is the style. It's bright, colourful and adorable. There are so many small details in the animation, any fan of animation should get a kick out of this. There is a lot of story for those looking for it. Do join the Thunderlotus community from the game menu, you will get some additional world-building through a few e-mails. Well worth it. There are a lot of cute moments, happy moments and sad moments.

The main focus of the game is the exploration of the world and even more important, the characters and their stories. Including that of Stella, your avatar. This is very well done, there is a great variety in the characters and stories within the theme of the game. Each character has tasks for you to complete, and through these several revelations are made which really help you connect to them. I am certain that pretty much everyone will feel some kind of connection to at least some of the characters.

Gameplays wise, it's mostly light questing, light exploration and light base building. You farm, fish, cook, and create materials through the usual buildings (smithy, foundry, kitchen, sawmill etc.). Don't expect any challenge combat wise. It's a very relaxed game in that sense, which fits the game perfectly. Basically a relaxing exploration/storytelling/managing game in a beautiful, bright and colourful world. If that sounds like your kind of game I'm sure you will enjoy Spiritfarer.

This is an absolutely brilliant little puzzle game. It offers some very creative puzzles and the (meta) humour is top notch. There are also some great references, mostly geek culture (but not all). It actually made me feel sorry for what is nothing more than a subtitled voice.

Play the free version first (There Is No Game: Jam Edition 2015). Its a different game altogether, not just the first level of this version or something along those lines. If you enjoy that you can be sure that you will love this one as well, and you will get some of the jokes you wouldn't get without playing the free version.

I don't know what happened here. I am used to PlayCatan, which is a very easy to use and neat website. This is a mess. The interface is awful. Its very hard to distinguish your cards. First game I tried online and it froze. Its good its free, I am going back to PlayCatan.

When I was a kid, I loved what I called plane shooters. Whether they had a topview, like Raptor: Call of the Shadow, or a sideview, as is the case with Jets'n'guns. Thye game delivers what it promises in the title. Jets and guns. Quite a few jets and many, many guns. Also many bad guys to blow up. If, like me, you liked these games, you will like Jets'n'guns. Also, cows get dropped from tubes for you to fly through, blow up, freeze, melt or absorb. Best Use of a Farm Animal Award nominee right here.

Its pretty much identical to the app. You play against NPC's in the campaign through various scenarios. You have floating heads, similar to Warcraft III, inbetween games to add some flavour, the same characters as per usual. If you like Catan enough to want to play it on your pc (or maybe mobile device if that can handle steam games) against computer opponents it might be worth getting. This is for a limited market though, so if you don't know Catan I'd stay away. I don't think I regret buying it myself, but the website is still by far the best way to go if you want to play on your PC.

In short, its just Settlers of Catan against computer opponents on PC. It works well for what it is, but its only for those who want to play the game that way.
