EDIT (@ 800 Hours): BEST THING SINCE TRU OR DIE: CHIRAQ. A MUST PLAY VIDEO GAME OF THE MANY HOURS AND DAYS. ✩

Although I enjoy this game, I do not recommend it to others (new players mostly) for a few select reasons. Those being-

1. Continued player locking in order to force you to buy DLCs, higher tiered DLC packs, and other level based items.
2. Game state being completely orbital around only a handful of weapons and armor every sandbox update, allowing for super OP weapons and armor to shoot to the forefront of everyone's use, leaving behind the heaps of other items in the game.
3. Current game state regarding Stasis, Crucible, Trials of Osiris, and loot pools.

With these in mind, the game is still somewhat enjoyable, but these factors make the game justifiably harder to play for longer periods of time. The game is free to play, however that doesn't come without its micro-transactions, high ever-verse prices, and absurd DLC pricing. Finally, the lack of listening to the community on these problems makes it seem as if we are just the cash crop for Bungie, after continuing to support them when they decided to fly solo, make this game free to play, and begin releasing their own content.
